Job summary

Electronic Arts seeks a Quality Expert - Telemetry Lead based in KL, onsite in Malaysia, to drive telemetry strategy and data frameworks across Apex Legends. You will apply AI/ML to transform telemetry into actionable quality insights, partnering with QA, Development and LiveOps to guide data-driven decisions.

You will lead the integration of telemetry into SDLC, ensure data standards, and mentor teams to implement scalable quality systems while improving product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading telemetry, data analytics or quality tech leadership at scale.
• Experience building telemetry frameworks for live/large-scale products.
• Background in data analysis, automation, or AI/ML for predictive insights.
• Mentoring others to grow technical and analytical skills.
• Understanding game development lifecycles and risk-based quality approaches.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana or equivalent visualization tools.
• Experience with CI/CD integration for telemetry pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive telemetry strategy and scalable data instrumentation across teams.
• Lead AI/ML models to detect anomalies, predict defects and derive insights.
• Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive quality summaries and trends.
• Prioritize testing using telemetry-driven insights to improve product quality.
• Collaborate with QA, Development and Data teams to align data logic and standards.
• Mentor teams and foster knowledge sharing on quality strategies.
