Job summary

ExxonMobil Malaysia is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer - Associate to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems while building foundational knowledge of industry technologies. Under supervision, you will contribute to project execution and provide operational support, grow cross-functional relationships, document activities, and help ensure alignment

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and support of telecommunications systems throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to troubleshooting, system recovery, and lifecycle management activities, including identifying critical spares and planning replacements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure effective integration and support of telecom solutions
• Apply foundational knowledge of project execution, asset operations, and communication skills to deliver technical support
• Document work activities and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Build relationships with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to support seamless project execution
• Support the integration of telecommunications systems across business areas, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and operational readiness
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to support solution development and vendor engagement
