Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced project leader to plan, manage and deliver telecom/IT programs with strong profitability and quality. You will liaise with the general manager for P&L on key accounts and provide project reporting as projects progress.

The role requires coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, mentoring engineers, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer through workshops and regular communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering/telecom.
• 5+ years in telco & IT industry.
• PMP or PRINCE certification is advantageous.
• Knowledge of project management and cross-functional communication.
• Telecommunication knowledge in turnkey, wireless, fixed network and OSP is preferred.
• Good communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and manage projects ensuring profitability and quality at program level.
• Assist general manager to monitor profit & loss for key accounts and project reporting.
• Support project team to resolve issues during implementation.
• Manage tracking, reporting and progress updates to management and customers.
• Act as primary project interface to customers and maintain satisfaction.
• Lead and manage the project team and subcontractors.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer to engineers and subcontractors via mentoring and workshops.
• Delegate, communicate, monitor, coach and motivate project team.
