Job summary

Sime Darby Auto Bavaria Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Technology Specialist - Data Engineer in SDM Ara Damansara (Headquarters) to design and manage data pipelines and dashboards.

You will ensure data quality, governance, and scalable data solutions across Azure data services, with a focus on transforming data into actionable insights. The role requires experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Power BI, and strong SQL/API/JSON proficiency.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification (Diploma/degree) in a business-related area.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in BI reporting, especially Power BI.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory and Data Warehouse.
• Experience with data visualisation techniques and designs.
• Experience in automated data visuals production and timely data delivery.
