Job summary

A leading company in staffing solutions is seeking a Welder on a 12-month contract basis. The role involves performing welding tasks according to Fisher's Standards while ensuring safety and quality. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Electrical Engineering and substantial experience in the manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Hands-on experience welding pressure parts required.
• Must be a non-smoker.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Supervisor on all welding-related activities.
• Ensure production meets Fisher Quality Standards.
• Update the Job Pack and manage items in Oracle system.

Job description

Tenure: 12 Months Contract (Renewable based on performance)

Salary: up to RM 3600 (Based on experience)

Job Descriptions:

Work closely with the Supervisor and other departments on all welding-related activities.

Follow the scope of work according to Fisher’s Standards.

Ensure production meets Fisher Quality Standards.

Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area at all times.

Perform daily housekeeping and basic maintenance of machines.

Update the Job Pack and move items in the Oracle system once processes are completed.

Meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets for scheduled manufacturing orders.

Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder in manufacturing or fabrication industries with hands-on experience welding pressure parts.

Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Proficient in welding techniques including GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and GMAW (MIG).

Familiar with basic welding machine setup and adjustments.

Must be a non-smoker.
