Job summary

A property management firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a technical/facility manager responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical equipment and plumbing systems. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in high-rise residential buildings. Familiarity with safety codes and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential for this role. Competitive package offered.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Electrical equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Maintain electrical DB's, Riser room, MSB Room.
  • Check fire fighting systems and smoke detectors.
  • Update and attend to preventive maintenance checklists.
  • Manage work orders in CMMS.

Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible to ensure all Electrical equipment and appliances is in safe and good working condition.
  2. To ensure all electrical DB's, Riser room, MSB Room are well maintain.
  3. To check ensure all fire fighting system, pumps, wet riser, smoke detector and its installation are in good condition.
  4. To ensure all checklist for preventive maintenance and schedule maintenance are updated and attended.
  5. Monitoring BAS system.
  6. To ensure all work orders are keyed in to CMMS (PMWO and CMWO).
  7. Knowledge in plumbing, piping installation and maintenance.
  8. To ensure all ACMV system is in running and good condition. To check modulating valve, supply and return air temp.
  9. To attend to tenant request (eSR).
Qualifications
  • Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical/facility management role in property management, preferably in high-rise residential buildings.
  • Familiarity with high-rise building safety codes and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
