You will record production data, support routine maintenance, and collaborate with supervisors to hit daily targets.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator in manufacturing.

This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production facilities and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining machinery and equipment on the production line, ensuring all output meets our rigorous quality standards and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
• Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying and reporting any faults or anomalies
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal functionality
• Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications
• Record production data, including output quantities, equipment downtime and any incidents
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and assist in troubleshooting technical issues
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on the production floor
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a machine operator or production technician in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production machinery, equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work instructions
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong health and safety awareness with a proactive approach to risk management
• Reliable attendance record and punctuality
• Basic computer literacy for recording and tracking production data
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in machine operation or production are advantageous
