Job summary

A leading construction machinery firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a Mechanical Technician to repair and maintain machinery. Candidates should have a specialization in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and be able to communicate in Mandarin and English. This role involves working collaboratively to enhance machine efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Preferably candidates specialize in Engineering -Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production or equivalent.
• Preferable those with experience in heavy industry/maintenance.
• Able to communicate and receive instruction in Mandarin & English.

Job description

• Repair machinery and other components of the machines
• Understand technical problem effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses.
• To maintain own area of responsibility in term of housekeeping and EHS while working as a team or individually.
• To assist on increasing the efficiency & reliability of machines
• Repair and installation of machinery and equipment
• Read and follow labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
• To ensure all work is carried out according to the safety regulation and industry quality standard.
• Perform service request related to client platforms.
• To become more effective in problem solving by on the job training.
• Submit service reports on time.
• Able to follow service team to do on site job.
• Able to work together with the Sales Team for customers' satisfaction

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably candidates specialize in Engineering -Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production or equivalent.
• Preferable those with experience heavy industry/maintenance
• Able to communicate and receive instruction in Mandarin & English (simple/basic communication will do)
• Has basic knowledge of computer
• Able to work in a team
