Job summary

A facilities maintenance company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on various building systems. Job description

Perform regular preventive maintenance and repair work on facilities equipment, building systems, and machinery (e.g., lighting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical).

Troubleshoot and fix facility-related issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Inspect and monitor building safety systems (e.g., fire alarms, emergency lighting, security access).

Handle basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.

Support installation of new equipment and assist with office setups or relocations.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all facility areas.

Assist external contractors and supervise minor repair works.

Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local building codes.

Maintain proper records and documentation of maintenance activities.

Requirement

Education: Minimum SPM / Technical certificate

Experience: At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in facilities or building maintenance.

Skills

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Familiar with tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
