A leading company in the plastic manufacturing sector is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee equipment upkeep and quality control. The role involves troubleshooting machinery, conducting maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Suitable candidates will possess relevant engineering diplomas and good communication skills.
To monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery and testers.
Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM), maintain electro-static systems, and conduct daily calibration.
Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment to ensure standards are met.
Ensure compliance with 7S requirements.
Ensure products meet established standards and specifications by inspecting, testing, and reporting on materials and products.
Examine products for defects or deviations from specifications using various tools and techniques.
Detect misconduct actions in the production line.
Ensure QC inspectors perform their daily tasks correctly.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, systems, equipment, and grounds.
Monitor building system operations and performance under close supervision.
Respond to service calls and perform in-house repairs throughout the facility.
Troubleshoot, respond to work orders, and repair systems and equipment.
Install office fixtures and perform maintenance trades including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
Ensure plumbing, sewer, water, electrical, and mechanical systems are functional.
Comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety directives.
Maintain lighting systems, including cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime if required.
