Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring all mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, and mechanical systems operate smoothly under the Facility Manager's supervision.
  • Perform system and equipment inspections, carry out minor repairs, and report findings to the Facility Manager as per contract specifications.
  • Monitor maintenance work by subcontractors, including repairs, installations, modifications, or upgrades.
  • Prepare reports on damages and defects related to mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural works for management review.
  • Ensure daily maintenance runs smoothly with minimal complaints.
  • Inspect, record, and monitor parts, ensuring stock levels are sufficient at all times.
  • Respond to the Facility Manager's instructions regarding complaints, and report on actions and improvements made.
  • Implement all safety precautions to prevent hazardous conditions and ensure safety compliance.
  • Address and resolve all complaints effectively.
Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:
  • Follow OH&S policies and procedures, ensuring safety in all operations.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid, fire, and emergency procedures, and operate equipment safely.
  • Take action to correct hazardous situations and notify supervisors of potential dangers.
  • Log incidents and accidents according to company requirements.
Job Requirements:
  • Certificate from polytechnic, SPMV, or SKM in Mechanical field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in building operation and maintenance.
