At Volvo Construction Equipment, you will be responsible for performing Volvo CE repair and maintenance work, both in the workshop and at job sites, in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The incumbent is a front-line employee with direct customer contact and contributes to dealer success. In addition to technical skills, people skills are important for effective customer relationship management and decision-making. The incumbent must be able to work independently.

Main Tasks

  • Perform all services and repairs on Volvo CE machines, in the workshop and at the job site.
  • Work safely using safe techniques and be responsible for OJT safety practices.
  • Complete all job cards, reports, and claims after each job.
  • Maintain a clean work area and field vehicle; properly use and take care of workplace tools and equipment at the workshop and field.
  • Maintain proper job documentation and working records for time, parts, and supplies, ensuring records are kept properly.
  • Actively participate in training.
  • Report additional work on machines and inform supervisors.
  • Ensure unused parts and materials are returned, including warranty parts after work completion.
  • Maintain a professional and neat personal appearance.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures, follow local regulations especially regarding disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Develop skills in report writing, schematic reading, and machine repair.

Education/Skills Required

  • Higher Secondary, STPM, A Level, Pre-U, Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
