Job summary

Bruker Malaysia is seeking a Test Technician within the FAST process to follow prescribed testing procedures and apply growing product knowledge to confirm assembled instruments are built correctly and meet Bruker's quality standards. You will execute testing and alignment tasks, maintain safety practices, and use test equipment and internal software to diagnose issues and ensure high-quality results.

Job description

As a Test Technician within our FAST (Final Assembly and Testing) process, you will follow prescribed testing procedures and apply your growing product knowledge to confirm that assembled instruments are built correctly and perform to Bruker's required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute prescribed testing and alignment instructions to verify that instruments are built and performing to the required quality standard
• Complete assigned test tasks on time and support colleagues to achieve overall on-time completion within the team
• Uphold safe working practices, correctly select and use PPE, and maintain a safe and enjoyable working environment for the whole team
• Use standard test tools, equipment and internal software to diagnose routine issues and interpret the results
• Apply self quality inspection to confirm your high standard quality work
• Performs other duties as assigned

About you

• Hands-on technical skills and a strong safety and quality mindset
• Ability to work independently from instructions and technical drawings
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with test and measurement equipment
• Good organization, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Certificate / Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent vocational / technical training
