Gussmann Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technician – IoT / Telemetry System to support telemetry and water monitoring projects across Johor. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of IoT systems, with company-provided accommodation and a 5.5 day work week.

You will gain hands-on experience in electrical panels, sensors, RTUs and communications gear, with training provided for fresh graduates. Based in Johor, occasional travel within the state is required.

Qualificações

• Minimum SPM, SKM, Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel between project sites throughout Johor.
• Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting knowledge is an advantage.

Job Description

We are looking for responsible and motivated Technicians to join our technical team supporting telemetry, IoT and water monitoring systems across Johor.

This position is based in Johor, and company accommodation will be provided for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of telemetry and IoT monitoring systems.
• Carry out inspection, testing and servicing of electrical panels, sensors, RTUs and communication equipment.
• Attend to technical issues and maintenance work at project sites throughout Johor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and site inspections.
• Prepare basic service reports and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with project engineers and technical support teams.

Working Arrangements

• Official working schedule: 5.5 days per week.
• Normal site operations are generally conducted over 5 working days (Monday to Friday), following the client's working schedule.
• Saturday work may be required depending on operational needs.
• As this is a technical service role, occasional after-hours, weekend or public holiday work may be necessary.
• Approved overtime will be compensated in accordance with company policy and applicable employment regulations.

This position is based in Johor, NOT Melaka. We welcome applicants from Melaka who are willing to be stationed in Johor during working days. Accommodation is provided by the company.
