Technician II, Molding Production

As a Technician II supporting Molding Production, you will be trusted to operate the molding automation efficiently according to SOPs and document effectively per Good Documentation Practices in meeting the quality and planned output at Johor, Malaysia. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform optical tool inspection, assembly, PON set-up, targeting, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, UV readings and PON changeover.
• Handle molding automation operations, responsible for faults and ensure all documentation is properly recorded.
• Perform mold cosmetic inspection and bubble check on dry lens.
• Adhere to Alcon Values & Behaviors, and ensure full compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conduct.
• Fully comply with Data Integrity procedures and requirements.
• Observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.

• General Certificate in any related field.
• No experience required; candidates with relevant work experience will have an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in a 12-hour weekly rotating shift.
