Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects within Hartalega NGC premises, including production lines, QA department, warehouse, utilities, compounding, and offices.
• Perform electrical panel isolation, troubleshooting, and wiring work.
• Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for all isolation tasks.
• Troubleshoot machines, carry out repairs, and modifications as necessary.
• Be available for on-call duties after working hours.
• Willing to work on shifts.
• Minimize downtime by performing tasks efficiently.
• Provide feedback to superiors regarding outstanding issues or items.
• Improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Ensure work is completed with high efficiency and quality.
• Promote teamwork within the department.
• Coordinate with other departments or plants for activities involving multiple departments.
• Achieve KPI targets.
• Practice self-safety and adhere to safety protocols during all tasks.
• Maintain proper documentation in compliance with ISO standards, including checklists and commissioning reports.
• Ensure all work complies with standards.
• Address and rectify customer complaints (internal or external).
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by superiors.
• Adhere to company rules, policies, and regulations.
• Ensure the oven burners operate efficiently.
• Complete annual maintenance tasks on time.
• Maintain tooling and property assigned.
• Attend all relevant training sessions.
• Assist other plant maintenance activities if needed or instructed.

Requirements

Education:

• SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent qualifications.
• PW2, AO certificates are an advantage.

Work Experience:

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical industries.
• Fresh graduates with a good attitude and initiative will also be considered.
