Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To assist the Head of Engineering in monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance of all Airport Facilities to ensure equipment availability at all times.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

1. Execute directives from the Head of Engineering and assist Engineers in identifying causes of technical problems and solutions (Repair & Maintenance).
2. Adhere to Safety Standards & Procedures and Engineering SOPs.
3. Monitor and supervise contractors for periodic servicing of mechanical works for contract-out preventive maintenance, e.g., air-conditioning, firefighting systems, passenger mover, PBB (Passenger Boarding Bridge), VDGS (Visual Display Guidance System), and conveyor belts.
4. Utilize SAP to check auto-generated work orders for preventive maintenance, create work orders for corrective maintenance, and update all completed work in the system to closed status.
5. Create scheduling agreements in SAP for contract-out preventive maintenance.
6. Ensure the level of technical and mechanical facilities and protections at the airport is sufficient, and recommend additional requirements if needed.
7. Execute other responsibilities and directives from the Airport Manager and HQ technical teams.
8. Achieve the set KPIs.
9. Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
10. Conduct tests to verify that equipment, software, or procedures operate as expected.
11. Propose solutions to problems and participate in incident report preparations.

Skills

• Knowledge of maintenance and operation of airport facilities.
• Updated knowledge of the latest technology, airport facilities, and project management.

Relevant Industries

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering/Technical or related field.
• Must achieve and maintain a performance rating of at least 'Exceptional / A' or 'Outstanding / B' for two consecutive years; minimum 'Meet Expectations / C'.
• No disciplinary punishments except for counseling, caution, reminder, or warning in the past 36 months prior to promotion.

External Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.

Education

• Certificate from SKM/Polytechnic.
