TECHNICIAN ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT

About the role

Ariss Integrated Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Electrical & Instrument Technician to join our team based in Kijal, Terengganu. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.

What you'll be doing

1. Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on equipment, machinery, or systems as per specifications and standards.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
3. Testing and Calibration: Conduct testing, calibration, and adjustment of equipment or instruments to maintain accuracy and reliability.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history for reference and regulatory compliance.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
6. Collaboration: Coordinate with team members, engineers, supervisors, and other departments to facilitate project completion and resolve technical issues effectively.
7. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or breakdowns, to minimize disruptions and restore functionality.

What we're looking for

• Diploma, degree, or certificate in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical or Instrument Technician, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and test equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail
