Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience in air conditioning maintenance.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems such as split units, VRV, VRF, and chillers.
• Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and related equipment throughout the club. This role ensures optimal performance of all HVAC systems to maintain comfort and air quality for members, guests, and staff at KLGCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of all air conditioning systems (split units, central systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, etc.)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in air conditioning systems efficiently and safely
• Carry out installation and commissioning of new air conditioning units as required
• Maintain HVAC controls, thermostats, piping, and ducting systems
• Monitor refrigerant levels and pressure, topping up or recovering as needed
• Ensure all air conditioning units are clean, filters are replaced, and condensers are well maintained
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergencies
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and service records
• Comply with all safety standards and KLGCC's maintenance SOPs
• Support other general maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Air Conditioning / HVAC or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience in air conditioning maintenance (preferably in hospitality, resort, or facility management industry)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems such as split units, VRV, VRF, and chillers
• Ability to read technical diagrams and handle HVAC tools/equipments
• Willing to work in shifts, on weekends, and during public holidays if required
