Qualifications

Candidates must be flexible to work a 12 hour AWS Shift and overtime, as required by the team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on sputter equipment according to maintenance schedules. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and control system failures . Perform equipment inspections and ensure machines operate within specified performance conditions. Document maintenance activities, equipment failures, and corrective actions in maintenance databases. Provide technical support to junior technicians during troubleshooting and equipment recovery . Support engineers in equipment improvement projects, machine upgrades, and system modifications . Analyze recurring equipment problems and provide improvement suggestions to engineers. Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and measurement instruments for troubleshooting. Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and cleanroom standards . Support production during equipment recovery to minimize downtime. REQUIRED: Diploma or Advanced/Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering . Minimum 3–6 years of experience in equipment maintenance in manufacturing environment. Experience working with vacuum systems or sputtering equipment is preferred. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams . Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes . Ability to work in 12-hour AWS shift environment . PREFERRED: Experience in a sputter media or semiconductor manufacturing environment. Knowledge of high-vacuum technology, plasma processes, or thin-film deposition systems. SKILLS: Strong troubleshooting capability in mechanical, electrical, and control systems . Good understanding of vacuum systems and sputter equipment operation . Ability to guide junior technicians during maintenance activities. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong teamwork and communication with engineers and cross-functional teams.
