Short Summary

Technician 3, Manufacturing Equipment with Western Digital. Responsibilities for supporting continuous production on an online support shift. Key duties include ensuring equipment performance to meet quality, yield, cost, and cycle time goals; reporting machine status and issues; conducting final product tests; maintaining 6S standards; assisting the tech team in reducing machine downtime and improving MTBA/MTBF; supporting engineers with project follow-ups; training operators on machine operation; and managing spare parts and tracking records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work shifts to provide support for the continuous production line. Ensure equipment is performing optimally to meet quality, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle time goals. Report online machine status and any issues to the EE Leader and Engineer promptly. Conduct final test product conversions effectively while maintaining high standards. Implement and uphold 6S practices to ensure a smooth and efficient production line. Assist the technical team in achieving targets related to machine downtime and utilization. Focus on improving Mean Time Between Adjustments (MTBA) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Support Engineer for project follow-up. Give training to operators about machine operation and to improve their working skills. Spare parts hand out, replacement, and make a good record for tracking. A diploma in Engineering will be preferred. Minimum 2 years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing, and familiar with maintenance and troubleshooting of Assy DA equipment.
