Job summary

WD is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure timely machine installation and optimal production operations. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, improving yield and product quality, and proactively diagnosing faults to implement effective solutions.

Key tasks include monitoring performance, coordinating with shifts, and upholding safety protocols. Diplomas in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required; strong English

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Perform machine installation as per schedule.
• Maintain smooth production operations and optimize yield, utilization, and product quality through machine sustaining and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Job Description

Responsible for timely machine installation and ensuring optimal production operations by maintaining equipment and enhancing yield, utilization, and product quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform machine installation as per schedule.
• Maintaining the smooth operation of production and optimizing yield, utilization, and product quality through machine sustaining and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Monitor equipment performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address deviations from performance targets.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Update machine status from outgoing shift to incoming shift.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronic Engineering
• Working experience: 3 years and above

PREFERRED:

• Able to manage routine workload and ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision.
• Able to work independently as well as a team member.
• Able to converse and write well in English.

SKILLS

• Dynamic and strategic thinking during day-to-day activities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, initiative, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
