Job summary

A manufacturing company in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Technician to handle the repair and maintenance of electrical facilities and production machinery. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.

Job Title: Technician

Location: Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

Job Description

1. Responsible for repair & maintenance of all electrical facilities, power supply, production machinery & equipment, air handling units (AHU), safety systems (fire protection), security equipment, and building & facilities maintenance.
2. Perform regular preventive maintenance on facilities, machinery, and equipment.
3. Update, record, and report any machinery, equipment, and facility-related issues. Oversee work done by contractors/vendors related to facilities & machinery.
4. Attend to breakdowns and troubleshooting.
5. Assist production in reducing downtime to achieve daily target output.
6. Support factory’s pre-audit exercises and assist in closing NCs for audits.
7. Assist OSH team to reduce or eliminate injuries caused by machines, equipment, or environment.
8. Liaise with vendors on machine or equipment breakdowns and upgrades.
9. Suggest and support improvements in the production line.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Certificates/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
2. Industrial background preferred: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
4. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
5. Experience in machinery configuration/troubleshooting.
6. Candidate must be based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
