Job Description

Roles: Technician for work site, responsible for work site and system day-to-day operations to meet the required treatment quality and standard, perform scheduled job.

  • Routine job includes but is not limited to system monitoring and maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor piping and equipment repairing job.
  • Assist Leader to perform job.
  • Assist Veolia ad-hoc team to perform when required.
Responsibilities:

To carry out day-to-day job properly according to Standard Operating Procedure or superior instruction

  • To understand all the Standard Operating Procedure for the said system(s) at work site
  • To report to superior in case that the treatment results are not meeting required quality and standards
  • To perform necessary job tasks effectively to meet required quality and complete within the required timeline
  • To update system daily monitoring checklist to ensure all systems operate in good condition and inform superior immediately on any system abnormality
  • To assist leader in carrying out Preventive Maintenance (PM) job as per schedule and as and when required
  • To carry out housekeeping and ensure site condition is always in clean conditions
  • To suggest to superior for parts, plant, or system improvement and the best practices, if any
  • To avoid wasting resources (Utilities, Water, Energy, Time) and materials (Chemical, consumables) when performing tasks.
  • Communicate and record daily activity in logbook/communication book.
  • To assist leader in carrying out troubleshooting/minor repair on equipment/piping
  • Assist Veolia ad-hoc team to perform job at the same work site when required.
  • Assisting superior/engineer in job assigned.
Qualifications:

Requirement:

  • Minimum 1/2 - 1 year of working experience in RODI system monitoring and maintenance or WWT (Physical Chemical Package) Plant system monitoring and maintenance or Certificate holder in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environment)
  • Qualification reviewed and approved by Veolia authorized personnel
  • Basic technical/hands-on skill
  • Basic computer skill, SCADA operations
  • Able to write daily reports

Other Requirement:

  • Able to work on shift basis and cover (replace) other shift technicians during emergency/when required
  • Good team player
  • Fast respond, escalation, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Disciplined
  • Responsible
