A leading company in water technologies seeks a supervisor for operational tasks. This role involves managing subcontractors, overseeing safety compliance, and ensuring high-quality service to customers in line with service agreements. Candidates should be proactive and capable of responding to emergencies, maintaining high standards of operation.
Services include, but are not limited to, technical advice, system monitoring, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, piping, and repairing jobs.
Responsibilities include supervising contractors, managing tools, materials, and scheduling job tasks.
Follow all company and customer safety rules and requirements.
Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required during work at the site or treatment plant is available and worn at all times by workers and subcontractors.
Report any safety incidents to management immediately.
Provide proper service to customers according to Work Orders or Sales agreements, including scope of supply and obligations.
Ensure work meets required standards and codes of practice; report any deviations to management.
Lead subcontractors during work, ensuring they follow company and customer rules and practices, including VWT "Service Operations Golden Rules."
Guide subcontractors to perform tasks effectively, meeting quality and timeline expectations.
Advise customers on system operation, parts, plant or system improvements, and best practices.
Troubleshoot system abnormalities, report issues, and coordinate vendor troubleshooting as needed, responding promptly.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure completion of Job Orders/Work Orders with proper documentation and timely submission to customers.
Be on standby for 24-hour call for ad-hoc jobs.
Assist in office building facility maintenance and emergency item delivery jobs.
Carry out tasks assigned by superiors or HOD as required.
