Job Responsibility
- Operate and maintain injection molding machines, ensuring efficient and continuous production runs in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform mold setup and changeover activities, including the installation, alignment, and securing of molds, while adhering to precise specifications and minimizing downtime.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections of molded parts, utilizing measuring instruments and visual examination techniques to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and electrical issues on injection molding machines, escalating complex problems to senior technicians or maintenance personnel as needed.
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time, to optimize production output and maintain consistent product quality.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine downtime, material usage, and quality control data, ensuring data integrity and facilitating performance analysis.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting a safe and efficient production operation.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with injection molding processes.
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting injection molding machines, with a strong understanding of process parameters and optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to perform mold setup and changeover procedures efficiently and safely, adhering to established protocols.
- Experience in conducting quality control inspections and implementing corrective actions to maintain product standards and minimize defects.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
