Job summary

Aveta Global Marketing in Selangor is seeking a skilled Motorcycle Technician to provide technical support, diagnose and repair motorcycles, and attend breakdown cases nationwide. The role demands hands-on expertise, documentation of repairs, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology, with at least 3 years in the automotive or motorcycle sector. Travel to dealer outlets and customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate or diploma in automotive technology or related studies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive or motorcycle industry.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment to identify and repair issues.
• Strong knowledge of motorcycle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes).
• Must be able to travel regularly and hold valid B2 and D licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and diagnose motorcycle mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems using appropriate diagnostic equipment, tools, and technical manuals.
• Carry out repair, maintenance, and rectification work according to company standards.
• Attend motorcycle breakdown cases and unresolved technical issues at dealer outlets and customer locations nationwide.
• Provide technical support to dealers and assist in resolving complex motorcycle-related issues.
• Inspect motorcycle systems including engine, transmission, electrical system, braking system, and other related components.
• Ensure all repair and troubleshooting work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct testing after repair to ensure the motorcycle is safe and operating properly.
• Maintain proper and detailed records of repairs performed, findings, corrective actions, and parts used.
• Identify defective or damaged components and recommend appropriate repair or replacement.
• Follow all company safety procedures and workshop practices while performing technical work.
