We are representing our client, a subsidiary of an SGX mainboard listed company specializing in manufacturing high-performance wireless equipment. Their activities include calibration, testing, SMT, and box build.

Currently, they are looking for a Technical Support Engineer / Product Testing Engineer to be based in Kulai, Johor.

Overall Responsibility

Responsible for troubleshooting network problems for the software development team regarding their released software.

Key areas of responsibility

• Work directly with customers to resolve hardware, software, and licensing issues.
• Assist customers with reported product failures, taking actions to resolve issues.
• Investigate and test customer problems in a lab environment using hardware and software.
• Stay current on networking technologies and new product offerings.

Skills and attributes

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (to communicate with Chinese customers).
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of different network operating system implementations and installations.

Experience requirement

• Expertise in troubleshooting networking protocols in WLAN technologies - 802.11, 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax.
