Technical Support Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

About the role

Mettler-Toledo (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Technical Support Engineer (Non-IT) to join our team in Petaling, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and troubleshooting for our range of innovative precision measurement products and solutions.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person interactions

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our products, ensuring customer satisfaction

Documenting and escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution

Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for customers

Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to support new product introductions and ongoing customer engagement

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our product portfolio and industry trends

What we're looking for

At least Completed technical education in automation or mechatronic background

At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in the manufacturing or technology industry

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal
