As a 24/7 Support Engineer based in Malaysia, you will provide around-the-clock technical support to ensure the uptime and performance of IQIP’s advanced equipment. You’ll act as the first point of contact for offshore and onshore crews, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and control system issues remotely or on-site. You’ll work closely with service teams across the region to solve urgent challenges and keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibility:

Provide 24/7 technical support for IQIP equipment in offshore and onshore operations

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues remotely or in the field

Coordinate with field service engineers, project teams, and customers to ensure rapid response

Log and track service calls, creating clear reports for continuous improvement

Assist in remote commissioning and system checks

Participate in the standby rotation schedule with international colleagues

Support preventive maintenance planning and remote training when needed

Qualification:

Technical degree in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or control engineering

Minimum three years of experience in technical support or service, preferably in offshore or heavy equipment industries

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure

Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call for international time zones

Fluency in English in verbal communication and written

Willing to travel occasionally to support urgent offshore interventions

Remuneration package will be based on experience
