A leading company seeks a Technical Support role based in Ipoh. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing hardware, providing training, and following SOPs for optimal service delivery. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Computer Science or IT and have good problem-solving skills. Flexible work hours and a valid passport for travel are required.
Identifying hardware, diagnosing, repairing faults, implementing software solutions, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Deploy, install, and configure hardware and software; provide on-site training and support services.
Manage multiple cases and activities as assigned, following SOPs, and provide pre- and post-activity reports as required.
Able to work on an ad hoc or project basis, including deployment, handover, standby, go-live, and corrective & preventive maintenance.
Maintain daily updates of maintenance stock after usage.
Provide technical support to other teams as needed or assigned.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for proper escalation based on Service Level Agreements (SLA) by projects.
Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or any relevant field.
Prior basic experience in technical support or similar role.
Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills, and punctuality.
Able to work flexible hours including weekends; willing to travel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Open to Malaysian candidates only.
Valid passport for travel.
