Job summary

HP is seeking a skilled Service Depot Inventory and Maintenance Specialist to manage spare parts inventory, tools, and service-related items within the depot. You will oversee precise system installations, report progress, and engage in troubleshooting tasks while supporting continuous improvement and mentor- ship of the team.

Responsibilities include coordinating work, maintaining procedures, and ensuring availability of up-to-date schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant competence required.
• Typically 6–8 years in equipment diagnosis or technical repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive and mechanical systems expected.

• Engages in troubleshooting tasks to identify issues in non-operational equipment and executes equipment modifications as instructed by test or manufacturing engineers.
• Performs facility inspections and due diligence efforts, meticulously documenting findings related to conditions affecting operations.
• Supports continuous improvement by learning from equipment breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements.
• Enforces strict adherence to checklists and procedures and verifies the availability of up-to-date revisions of procedures and schematics before commencing work.
• Applies extensive knowledge, resolves complex issues, and recommends improvements through creative and effective approaches.
• Coordinates departmental work, mentors the team, and serves as an escalation point for different issues in the related area of work.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement, makes recommendations, and also assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification.

Education & Experience Recommended

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in equipment diagnosis, technical repair, blueprint reading, or a related field.
