Job summary

A global leader in energy solutions is seeking a technical expert for external energy storage system (ESS) projects in Selangor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, at least 10 years of experience in energy projects, and strong English proficiency. Responsibilities include collecting client requirements, designing solutions, and managing technical risks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in renewable energy, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with renewable energy power systems and energy storage development.
• 10+ years of experience in energy projects preferred.
• Proficiency in English and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

1、Collect and analyze technical requirements for overseas ESS projects；

2、Communicate with clients and design ESS solutions based on client needs, prepare bidding documents；

3、Identify technical risks and resolving system issues during project implementation；

4、Prepare and negotiate technical agreements；

5、Maintain client relationships and explore client needs and information；

6、Collect and analyze technical requirements of the local market, transforming them into competitive product demands.

Requirements：

1、Bachelor's degree or above in renewable energy, electrical engineering, power electronics, high-voltage power grid, mechanical and automation, or other science and engineering majors；

2、Familiar with renewable energy power generation systems or power transformation and distribution systems；

3、Experience in microgrid energy storage system development, familiar with grid-forming PCS (Power Conversion System) technology；

4、Familiar with the development processes and requirements of energy storage projects in overseas regions；

5、Priority given to those with 10 years or more of experience in energy project (energy storage, photovoltaic, power generation, etc.) ；

6、Ability to read various English technical specifications and papers, proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing；

7、Excellent user needs analysis capabilities and customer relationship management skills;

8、Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, presentation skills, execution ability, and logical thinking skills.
