We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Services Manager to lead and manage our production planning activities related to base and line maintenance. This role reports directly to the Base Maintenance Manager (P-145) and contractually to the Accountable/General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assisting Maintenance Managers in setting up and developing the scope of work, processes and procedures for maintenance by ensuring compliance with any CAA requirements.
  2. Developing, managing and continuously improving a production planning system appropriate to the maintenance scope of work, in compliance with applicable regulations and standards set by Skyways Technics.
  3. Managing relations with customers and establishing a clear work ordering system as part of production planning to ensure requested work is clear to maintenance personnel.
  4. Performing competence assessments of all technical services personnel by coordinating with Training Coordinator.
  5. Analyzing work orders to ensure requested maintenance remains within the approved scope of Skyways Technics.
  6. Analyzing work orders to coordinate required manpower, tools, materials, facilities, and maintenance data, producing hangar visit plans considering human performance limitations.
  7. Establishing and managing the common work card system, ensuring maintenance staff are competent in its use and that standards are met.
  8. Generating and assembling work packages for aircraft docking, ensuring all requested works and critical maintenance tasks are included.
  9. Monitoring maintenance activities against plans, organizing meetings with Dock Chiefs and customer representatives to maximize reliability and efficiency.
  10. Controlling completed work packs for correctness, archiving records, and submitting customer records timely.
  11. Updating lists of contracted operators, organizations, and subcontractors.
  12. Coordinating outsourced works, ensuring contractual standards are met.
  13. Collaborating with logistics to ensure compliance with airworthiness directives for components.
  14. Responding to compliance audit findings in the technical services area.
  15. Ensuring quality delivery of repaired aircraft/components and overall service level.
  16. Resolving technical queries for smooth production and good communication among parties.
  17. Managing maintenance manuals, service bulletins, directives, and drawings updates.
  18. Communicating with OEMs regarding technical issues.
  19. Obtaining necessary design documents for repairs.
  20. Participating in continuous improvement projects.
  21. Implementing and maintaining relevant QMS standards, supporting audits.

Qualification requirements

  • Part-66 Licensed Aircraft Technician, or
  • Engineering/Technical Degree in Aerospace or related Science, or
  • Similar Technical Background
