Job description

First to learning the market leading technology and new products launching from our Technology partners from Germany, France & United States.

To lead Technical Engineers in design IECEx products and solution as per IECEx Standard based on Principal’s design rules.

Pre-sales support and coordinate with sales teams during tender or bidding stage to deliver accurate, timely bid submission.

a) To prepare and review technical proposal.

b) To analyze client’s specifications, electrical drawings (SLDs), datasheets and tender documents.

c) To design compliant and optimized solutions ensuring client’s requirements and industry standards are met

d) To manage and respond to any technical clarification.

e) Liaise directly with Principal, clients and vendors to resolve technical queries.

To Conduct detailed technical product presentations for clients, consultants, and contractors whenever require.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and innovations in Renewable Energy, BESS, power automation systems and electrical products relevant to company targeted market.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in project, sales support, proposal engineering, or pre-sales electrical engineering within the oil and gas industry or similar heavy industries.

Skill / Knowledge & Requirements:

Design and hands-on experience in at least one of these products & solutions such as e-House, LV/MV switchgear, MCC, UPS systems, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), genset control and explosion proof electrical products with good knowledge of hazardous area standards including IECEx and ATEX.

Exposure to ENMCS/IMCS, power automation system, DCS, SCADA and PLC system used in oil and gas operations and familiarize with IEC61850.

Experience in handling technical clarifications with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Strong understanding of tender and bidding process for oil and gas projects and proficient in interpreting technical drawings e.g, single line diagram, general arrangement, system architecture, specifications and etc.

Knowledge of additional standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, or API relevant to oil and gas would be an added advantage.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
