Technical Sales Specialist

Your tasks

1. Work closely with the sales team to provide project and proposal support (including technical presentations) to customers, such as system owners, end-users, consultants, and EPCs, to specify GF’s solutions into overall project specifications.
2. Perform technical sales to external parties in the absence of the sales team, especially for data center-related project inquiries.
3. Support the industry sales team during the project bid stage by preparing and providing necessary technical information to customers, such as piping system or product specifications, with a focus on data center applications.
4. Prepare cost-effective proposals, including identifying the right product selections (part numbers) and configurations (process automation) based on project requirements.
5. Conduct joint visits and presentations with the sales team, including presentations at technical seminars, especially for data center events.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Your profile

• Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in an engineering industry (Water OEMs, EPCs, or consultancy firms).
• Sales experience is an advantage.
• Experience with AutoCAD and piping system designs.
• Ability to demonstrate piping and layout concepts for optimal design and cost savings.
• Ability to provide clear technical solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia.
• Resourceful problem-solver.
• Persistent, proactive attitude, willing to go the extra mile.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
