Job description

Overview

Innopest is dedicated to providing innovative and eco-intelligent pest control solutions. We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant to join our team. This role involves providing technical expertise and support to our clients, ensuring the implementation of effective pest management solutions that comply with industry standards such as GMP, ISO, and HACCP.

Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition & Lead Generation

  • Proactively Seek Leads: Use various channels (cold calls, online platforms, door-to-door, and referrals) to find new customers.
  • Engage with Clients: Reach out to residential, commercial, and industrial clients who may benefit from Innopest’s services.
  • Networking: Build a network of potential clients by attending local events or collaborating with real estate or property management firms.

2. Needs Assessment & Consultation

  • On-Site Inspections: Visit customer premises to assess pest issues and identify suitable solutions.
  • Educate Customers: Explain pest problems, potential risks, and the importance of effective pest control.
  • Tailored Solutions: Recommend Innopest’s services based on client-specific needs (e.g., termite risk management, integrated pest management, etc.).

3. Sales Process Execution

  • Prepare Proposals: Draft and present quotes, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Close Deals: Use effective sales strategies to secure clients while maintaining ethical practices.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Promote additional services or ongoing maintenance plans for long-term pest management.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring loyalty and repeat business.
  • Follow up after service to gather feedback and address any concerns.
  • Serve as the client’s main point of contact for any questions about services or pest-related issues.
  • Offer expert advice on the use and implementation of pest control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (GMP, ISO 22001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).

5. Collaboration with the Operations Team

  • Work closely with Innopest’s technicians to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Provide accurate details from the sales process to assist with operational planning.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of pest management systems, chemical applications, and relevant industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess complex situations, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proficient in diagnosing issues quickly and implementing corrective actions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and report generation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology or a related field.
  • Proven Sales experience as a Technical Consultant, Customer Service, Sales Representative or similar role in the pest management or related industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (9001,14001, 45001) is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in pest management or technical consulting are a plus.

Other Information

Work Environment: The role may involve fieldwork as well as office-based tasks. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on client needs.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary for client visits or training sessions.
