Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to expand our market presence in theCold Chain and Biomedical/Pharmaceutical Refrigerationproduct line. This role will focus on promoting and selling our comprehensive range of temperature monitoring solutions, pharmaceutical refrigerators, biomedical freezers, and ultra-low temperature storage systems.

1) Temperature Monitoring Solutions

Advanced Temperature Monitoring Systems- Our flagship real-time monitoring solutions:

Wireless Solutions: Interference-free dedicated frequency technology with exceptional long-range coverage, scalable multi-sensor connectivity, cellular network reliability, government-certified compliance, extended battery life, and user-friendly mobile/desktop applications

Wired Solutions: Robust hardwired systems with extensive cable coverage, modular sensor expansion, comprehensive data backup capabilities, multi-channel alerting with audio-visual alarms

Both platforms provide comprehensive environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, gases, power status) with instant multi-channel notifications and 24/7 connectivity

Key Responsibilities

1) Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for cold chain products including TempGuard and OCEAView monitoring systems

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within healthcare, pharmaceutical, research, and F&B sectors

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies

Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations showcasing TempGuard wireless/wired systems, OCEAView platforms, ECOFRIJ refrigerators, and ECOFRIZ freezers

Prepare and submit competitive proposals and quotations

2) Market Development

Leverage FC-Bios' cold chain expertise since 2006 to expand market share across North, South, and East Malaysia

Analyze market trends and competitor activities in the cold chain and refrigeration sector

Develop territory management strategies to maximize coverage and efficiency

Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events

3) Customer Support & Technical Sales

Provide pre-sales technical consultation to help customers select optimal cold chain solutions (TempGuard, OCEAView, refrigeration equipment)

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper product installation and commissioning

Offer ongoing support for TempGuard and OCEAView system setup, sensor configuration, and cloud platform integration

Address customer inquiries and resolve any product-related concerns

Leverage FC-Bios' exclusive service capabilities as sole distributor of TempGuard systems

4) Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases in CRM system

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback

Coordinate with internal teams including logistics, technical support, and customer service

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.

3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in lab equipment, medical devices, or industrial refrigeration.

Proven sales track record with strong client relationship skills.

Knowledge of cold chain solutions in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or research settings.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical and medical device storage (GDP, WHO PQS, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 standards preferred)

Understanding of wireless communication technologies (LoRaWAN, 433MHz, 4G networks).

Basic understanding of laboratory operations and scientific applications.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Self-driven, customer-focused, and able to work independently across multiple territories.

MUST be willing to travel within Malaysia (valid driving license required).

Experience selling to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, or laboratories/ existing network in healthcare/research sectors

Knowledge of biobanking, cryopreservation, or temperature-sensitive storage applications

Existing network in healthcare/research sectors

Certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or IoT;

Experience with tender processes and government procurement

Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDP, HACCP, GMP)

Understanding of wireless communication technologies (LoRaWAN, cellular networks)
