Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner seeking a Technical Program Manager to join Flex Perai. The role supports a potential spin-off forming Axiom in 2027 and will drive end-to-end product development across markets.

You will lead cross-functional programs, coordinate with engineers, manage timing and budgets, and translate customer needs into NPI actions. A degree and 10+ years in related fields are required, with experience in project/process/industrial engineering an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Experience in project management, process engineering or industrial engineering is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of product development, coordinating with engineers and ensuring timing and budgets are met.
• Lead definition of products across multiple markets including consumer, industrial, digital health, cloud, IoT, and more.
• Identify and assess new product opportunities and translate customer needs to NPI and CFT teams.
• Establish functional strategic plans and lead major initiatives at the site.
• Manage the program team with regular updates to management.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission‑critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Technical Program Manager located in Flex Perai.

What a typical day looks like:

• Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met
• Drive definition of products in markets including consumer, industrial, medical, digital health, automotive, enterprise and cloud computing, IoT, etc.
• Actively identify and assess new product opportunities and initiatives for customer designs and white label products. Work closely with design engineering to extract and develop core product features-advantages-benefits information to drive and support the product marketing strategy.
• Translate customer’s technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site
• Establish and ensure effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site and may have P&L responsibilities.
• Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives
• Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Candidate with experiences in project management, process engineering or industrial engineering will be added advantage
