Job summary

Flex is hiring a Technical Program Management Engineer in Prai/Batu Kawan, Penang. You will lead cross-functional teams to design, validate, and deliver innovative product solutions from concept to NPI while ensuring schedule and cost targets are met.

The role emphasizes coordinating across R&D and manufacturing teams, applying SMT/Wafer/Soldering/Assembly knowledge, and driving major initiatives within a dynamic electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 5 years of engineering experience in high technology electronics.
• Knowledge in SMT / Wave / Soldering / Assembly.
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments to transfer projects from R&D to Penang site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, validation, and implementation of product solutions to meet customer requirements from concept through NPI.
• Drive execution of product development with technical program engineers and manage timing and budgets.
• Translate customer needs to NPI and cross-functional teams.

Job Summary

.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aTechnical Program Management Engineerlocated inPrai/Batu Kawan, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Partner with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation, and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the NPI phase.
• Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met.
• Translate customer’s technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site.
• Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.
• Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
• Knowledge in SMT / Wave / Soldering / Assembly
• Experience in coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth project transfer from R&D, Dongguan factory to Penang site.
