Job summary

tawk.to, inc. is seeking a Technical Lead to architect a zero-to-one identity resolution product. You will own the technical vision, design a real-time identity graph, and integrate multiple data providers to deliver unified visitor profiles across millions of properties.

You will collaborate with the CTO and cross-functional teams to wire identity signals from chat, scheduler, and form products into a unified resolution system while ensuring privacy and compliance at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years backend engineering experience.
• 2–3 years building data-intensive systems with identity resolution or enrichment pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of browser fingerprinting, identity graphs or cross-site tracking.
• Strong API integration and architectural skills.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA and privacy considerations for B2B data.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the identity resolution service within a microservices platform.
• Define the data model for identity nodes, visitor sessions, and signals.
• Integrate third-party enrichment APIs with circuit breakers and caching.
• Build real-time resolution pipelines with low latency and scale.
• Lead MVP delivery and coordinate with the CTO and other teams.
• Ensure privacy compliance and data retention policies.
