Job summary

Hitachi eBworx Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, seeks an experienced Technical Lead (Java) to guide the design and delivery of Java-based software solutions for our financial services clients.

As a full-time Technical Lead, you will oversee technical direction, collaborate with PMs to align plans, drive execution, and mentor the team, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Java EE development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-team coordination.
• Solid understanding of design documentation and experience with UML.
• Hands‑on experience with Java EE frameworks and design patterns, preferably on Microservices architecture.
• Familiar with MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Worked with Java EE services such as EJB, JDBC, and JMS.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot, open source RDBMS, NoSQL, Event oriented system is a plus.
