Job summary

Mills Recruitment partners with a top-tier bank to hire a Technical Lead – Java / FICO Blaze Advisor to lead application development, project delivery and system enhancements. The role combines hands-on development with leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.

You will own end-to-end technology projects, translate requirements into technical solutions, manage priorities, and ensure delivery standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information System Engineering or Computer Science.
• 6–10 years’ experience in development and application support.
• 6–10 years’ experience with Java, with hands-on development capability.
• Experience with FICO Blaze Advisor is an added advantage.
• Strong experience in API integration, relational databases, SQL, ORM technologies and web app frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to delivery.
• Design, develop and implement application enhancements meeting technical and business requirements.
• Develop and integrate APIs with third-party systems and support web-based applications.
• Lead and mentor team members, promoting strong technical and delivery practices.
• Support production applications, troubleshoot issues and ensure uptime and SLA compliance.
