Be the go-to authority on Functional Safety Management across corporate, proposal, and project phases
Influence the design and execution of cutting-edge offshore systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and global stakeholders
Drive innovation in safety instrumentation and lifecycle planning

Develop and review Safety Instrumented System (SIS) Lifecycle Plans and procedures
Provide expert guidance on Functional Safety across all phases of facility development
Lead and participate in HAZOP and LOPA workshops
Define and review Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and ensure SIL compliance
Manage functional safety consultants and subcontractors to deliver high-quality assessments
Oversee assurance tasks during design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
Perform SIL verification, guide engineers in data collection, and ensure cross-disciplinary alignment
Continuously improve safety practices and technical standards across the organization
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Safety Engineering
Minimum 18 years of experience in Functional Safety within the oil and gas sector
Professional certification such as CFSE (exida), TÜV Functional Safety Engineer, or equivalent is highly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proven ability to manage complex safety systems and mentor engineering teams
