Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment, including bottling, labelling, and packaging machines.

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is operating at peak performance.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting procedures to identify root causes of issues.

Execute repairs promptly to minimize disruption to production operations.

3. Technical Support

Provide technical support and guidance to production staff regarding equipment operation and safety.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper functioning of all machinery and adherence to safety & food safety standards.

4. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment downtime for management review.

Prepare SOP for end users where required.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Attend & participate in discussion on new equipment, tools & software.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in equipment maintenance and reliability.

6. Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Promote a culture of safety within the workplace and participate in safety training programs.

7. Other responsibilities

Ensure maintenance tools, maintenance workshop and equipment are in good & hygienic condition.

Ensure workplace is always in good housekeeping.

May be required to work on shift in rotation basis with the other maintenance technician.

Job Requirements: -

Possess a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or any other related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 5 years working experience in similar functions and preferably from food manufacturing.

Experience working in beverage industry is added advantage.

Familiar with CMMS, SAP software.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Experience with PLCs and automated systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP.
