This position is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and continuous process improvements while ensuring smooth and efficient production of products with high quality.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Process Development & Optimization

- Develop detailed production processes and standard operating procedures based on product design requirements to ensure efficient and stable production.

- Continuously enhance and refine production methodologies to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

2. On-Site Guidance and Supervision

- To guide and to provide technical understanding and requirements of production to operators, ensuring all operations are strictly conducted in accordance to established SOP.

- Monitor production, enforce strict SOP and rectify non-compliance promptly.

3. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

- Respond swiftly to production-related issues such as quality defects or workflow disruptions.

- Organize cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems by devising effective solutions and monitor implementation results.

4. Process Documentation and Control

- Draft, revise, and maintain process documents, including flowcharts, work instructions and other related materials.

- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, up-to-date, properly archived and reviewed regularly.

5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Communication

- Collaborate with R&D team on product design and process requirements, provide feedback on problems in production and suggest improvements.

- Work closely with Quality Control Department to resolve product quality issues, develop quality control plans and inspection standards.

- Collaborate with Production Planning Department to effectively schedule process adjustments and equipment maintenance without compromising production goals.

Position Requirements:

1. Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other closely related disciplines.

2. Technical Skills:

- Process Engineering: Proficient in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar software for drafting designs and process documentation, knowledgeable in developing and optimizing production workflows.

- Mechanical Drawing & Electronic Circuitry: Posses strong foundation in mechanical drafting, able to independently sketch and review technical drawings; Familiar with electronic circuitry and its principles for troubleshooting purposes.

- Equipment Handling & Management: Familiar with functionality of production equipment / tools for the right selection in operations, and able to calibrate and maintain it.

- Quality Control: Familiar with quality management systems, able to establish quality standards and resolve process-related issues through data analysis.

3. Work Experience:

- More than 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering or manufacturing.

- Experience in new product introduction (NPI) will be a strong advantage.

4. Work Ethic

- Strong sense of responsibility: Ensures timely execution of tasks and problem solving.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills: Capable of working efficiently across departments and guiding production operations.

- Outstanding learning and problem-solving capabilities: Able to work in team and pick up new technical knowledge quickly.

5. Additional Requirements:

- Willing to work overtime and travel. Candidates with professional titles or certification will be considered first.

6. Language Requirements

- Able to communicate in Malay, English, and Mandarin is a must.
