As a Technical Architect, you will take on a leadership role in designing and delivering the next-generation product data platform—a critical system that centralizes and manages product information for seamless integration across organizational channels, including e-commerce, ERP, and marketing systems. This role is part of a global IT team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.

What does the role involve?

As a Technical Architect, you will:

1. Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing architectures for the product data platform.
2. Lead the development and evolution of the platform to support various business channels and ensure data consistency across systems.
3. Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
4. Develop and maintain architectural standards, including best practices for data modeling, APIs, and system integration.
5. Oversee the integration of the product data platform with other systems, leveraging tools like Stibo STEP, AWS, and modern development frameworks.
6. Evaluate and recommend technologies, identifying the most suitable frameworks (e.g., Spring, Node.js, Python, or others) to balance performance, scalability, and business needs.
7. Act as a technical expert in data engineering and data architecture, ensuring the platform meets business and performance requirements.
8. Stay hands-on with the codebase when needed, providing guidance to development teams, managing technical debt, and ensuring high-quality standards.
9. Drive compliance with IT security, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements for platform operations.

What you need is:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years in system integration, data engineering, and software architecture.
• Technical Expertise:

1. Strong understanding of data platforms and information systems, with experience in tools like Stibo STEP (or similar).
2. Proficiency with cloud-based solutions, ideally using AWS services for hosting and scalability.
3. Expertise in architecting scalable systems using modern frameworks and tools—experience with platforms such as Spring, Node.js, or Python-based frameworks is a plus, but flexibility to evaluate and recommend the right technology is key.
4. Hands-on experience in API design and development, including API gateways, microservices, and data synchronization workflows.
5. Deep knowledge of data engineering principles, including ETL workflows and data modeling.

• Mindset: Agile, solution-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
