Job description

Responsible for bid preparation, including cost estimation and proposal writing for assigned bids and tenders.

Research, source, negotiate, and obtain the best prices from vendors and subcontractors.

Collaborate with Engineering, Project, and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate input for bids and tenders.

Review clients’ RFQ documents to ensure estimates comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Compile cost and price consolidations per tender requirements and complete costing sheets for bids.

Conduct cost and finance reviews in compliance with bid requirements and work instructions. Proactively highlight key technical or financial assumptions, potential cost impacts, negative cash flows, and cost optimization opportunities.

Upon winning a bid, ensure the cost data and technical requirements are properly handed over to the project execution team.

Handle tasks assigned by your supervisor related to new business development and other business opportunities.

Educational and Other Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years working experience in water and/or wastewater industry, preferably working in proposal/tender department.

Experience in AutoCad 2D/3D, Civil 3D, PLS CADD is highly preferred.

Prior experience in Transmission line design is highly preferred.

Fresh graduates with AutoCad 3D knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Candidate must possess own transport and willing to travel locally and outstation.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Detailed oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills and under minimal supervision.
