An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to support the Technical team in various administrative and coordination tasks. This role involves assisting with the preparation of technical documentation, managing vessel certificates, and ensuring timely follow-up on spare parts and payments. Drydock support (assist Technical Sup in coordination and verification work)
Assist Technical Sup in preparing AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
Review monthly technical VOE accruals
Follow up on spare parts delivery to the vessel
Circulate monthly class status reports and follow up
Follow-up on payments to vendors
Handle adhoc payment requests for technical matters
Maintain and update vessel's trading certificates
Apply for renewal of certificates such as Bunker Convention Certificate, ship station license, and Wreck Removal Certificate from the vessel's flag
Arrange weekly/monthly technical meetings
Assist in raising Travel POs for the Technical team
Support other Technical Assistants/Executives during leave and handle ad hoc requests for Technical Superintendents and Managers
Perform other administrative duties and tasks as assigned
Raise POs related to the Technical team
Extract ABS NS reports for circulation and follow-up
Prepare documentation (e.g., POs and invoices) for insurance claims and maintain insurance certificates
Degree or Diploma with relevant experience in the Maritime industry.
