Une startup dynamique, Alpha Story, recherche un représentant des ventes pour rejoindre son équipe en pleine croissance. Job description

AI-driven Tech/PR startup in the midst of closing its first funding round led by a prominent VC.

We’re a fast-growing startup founded in late 2023, with 10+ employees.

Young, vibrant environment with ex-corporate professionals under 40.

Built by a strong founder team with 10+ years of PR industry experience.

Candidate should be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the permanent rights to work.

Candidate will be the 3rd hire in an experienced sales team.

What we do

There's a significant information and automation gap in the public relations and reputation management space. We aim to capitalize on this opportunity, and we want you to join us on this journey. Your role will be to close inbound sales leads across various channels, primarily through video meetings, but be prepared to close large-ticket sales in person.

In a nutshell

3-5% commissions per sale, with an average deal size of RM 10k - RM 100k.

WFH/hybrid working arrangement with an office located in KL Sentral. Expect to be present in person for client meetings if it helps you close large enterprise deals.

Our primary language for internal and external communication will be English, with clients across Malaysia and Singapore.

The product/services you'll be selling

PR services — we craft compelling brand stories for our clients (from startups to SMEs) and disseminate them to media outlets, aiming to secure features in prominent publications.

Our PR campaign plans range from 4 to 12 months, with clear pricing tiers based on content volume and guaranteed media placements.

Cross-sell opportunities with Alpha Echo in the future — our reputation management report generation software.

What are we looking for?

Proven sales experience in a tech or PR environment.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Enthusiasm to close significant deals.
